In order to uphold the excellent reputation ADB has within the diamond industry, its criteria for customer selection are very stringent.
As such,
Only diamond & jewellery companies are accepted.
All new clients must be introduced by at least 2 existing ADB clients.
They must be a Member of one of the four bourses in Antwerp.
ADB requires full transparency & compliance with all the industry related requirements.
ADB wishes to establish long term relationships with a full understanding of the customer’s business cycle.
By being active in the diamond business for 75 years now, ADB has a vast experience of the “diamond pipeline”. This knowledge allows us to consider lending to different segments of the industry.
In general, financing is short-term and asset conversion oriented, ie. transactional based.
Because ADB wishes its financing to be self-securing and self-liquidating, individual transactions are subject to a daily follow-up.
The financing is tailor made as far as terms of utilization are concerned and take into account the specific activity of each individual company.
ADB has a dedicated team of highly specialized staff who provides all our clients with an excellent service throughout the whole export and import process. Its first concern is to resolve all your possible queries related to the export and/or import of diamonds.

Preparation of all documents for Diamond Office, Customs, Carriers, Consulate
Preparation of acknowledgement of receipt
Preparation of collection letters
Physical presentation of the goods at Diamond Office for valuation and delivery to the carrier
ADB’s E-consulting enables you to monitor your export order and to check at which stage in the process it is, at any given moment in time, until delivery to your selected carrier.
On top of this, ADB also offers other added value services such as:
adjustments to address, and/or delivery instructions and issues that impact the Kimberley process at the destination, typing invoices on your behalf, upfront simulation of all expenses related to your export order, etc.

The Commercial Desk is your unique entry point to the Bank for all questions related to your account.
Our Commercial Desk also processes all your cash transactions, deposits and withdrawals, irrespective of the currency. ADB offers as well a wide range of safes for hire to those clients who need this service.
ADB’s Money Transfer Department will deal with all your payments and checks, both for domestic and cross-border transactions. The extensive correspondent banking network of ADB and the excellent relationships built up with these banks across the world enable us to offer you a high quality service in the field of international payments. All checks, drafts or other documents, that need to be collected, will be handled by our Collection Department. Our dedicated collection team takes care of all your instructions regarding discount, protest, amendments and these will be carried out in a strict way. In combination with a close follow-up, this results in an efficient collection process that will benefit your business.
The collection department also handles letters of credit. If you want to open a letter of credit for import or if you are the beneficiary of a letter of credit for export, we will assist you in the complex process of producing all the documents involved.
