1. Can I use ADB’s E-banking on different PC’s?

Yes, you can as long as you have your digipass with you.

2. If I logon into ADB’s E-banking, how long will the link stay active without doing anything?

The link will stay active for about 15 minutes.

3. What are the different steps in order to use ADB’s E-Banking?

- you must be an account holder with ADB Antwerp;
- automatically, you will receive a username & password to logon into our ‘Banker of Choice’-application;
- under the ‘Banker of Choice’-application you will find the necessary ADB’s request form in order to obtain a digipass;
- ADB’s request form needs to be filled in twice, handwritten for each requested digipass;
- go to the frontdeck at the ADB’s counter where the requested forms will be checked;
- after a few days you will receive a digipass and your code to unlock your digipass.

4. How many digits long is my personal pin code to use my digipass?

Your personal pin code must be 5 digits long.

5. Is it possible to use numerical and alphanumerical characters for my pin code on my digipass?

It is only possible to use numerical characters.

6. Can I access the site from abroad?

Yes, it doesn’t matter where you are as long as you have an internet connection.

7. What is the cost for using E-Consulting?

The cost for using E-Consulting is free of charge. The only cost is the purchase of a digipass which is set to € 50 per digipass.

8. What are the technical requirements to use ADB E-consulting?

- Internet acces via cable, ISDN-, Lan or ADSL-connection
- Screen resolution: 1024x768 or higher
- Acrobat Reader version 4 and up
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5, 6.0
- Cookies acceptance

9. Is there a limitation in ordering digipasses?

Their is no limitation. Clients can order as many digipasses they want, according their needs.

10. I can’t remember my digipass pin code, what should I do?

In case you forgot your digipass pin code, proceed as follows:
- enter 3 times a random pincode until your digipass is locked
- write down the code that appears on your screen (UNL...);
- call or e-mail ADB Helpdesk and communicate us your digipass number (number at the back of your digipass) and the UNL code;
- ADB will contact you for your unlock code;
- with this unlock code you can re-use the locked digipass after entering a new pin code.

11. My digipass is locked, how do I proceed?

- write down the code that appears on your screen (UNL...);
- call or e-mail ADB Helpdesk and communicate us your digipass number (number at the back of your digipass) and the UNL code;
- ADB will contact you for your unlock code;
- with this unlock code you can re-use the locked digipass after entering a new pin code.

12. I tried to logon, but on my screen the following warning is displayed “user burnt”. “Digipass has to be reset.” or “Signature blocked”.

In this case you have entered 3 times an incorrect digit logon code. This 8 digit number is displayed after entering the challenge code. Call or e-mail ADB Helpdesk mentioning your digipass number and “reset digipass”. ADB will start an internal procedure to re-activate the logon screen.

13. Each time I go to E-banking, a security alert window is coming up saying: “the security certificate was issued by a company you have not choosen to trust”. Each time I have to click “yes” in order to proceed to E-banking module. Is their a way to avoid receiving the security alert?

If you are not familiar with installing security certificates, please call ADB Helpdesk, they will provide you a manual or guide you through the process of installing a security certificate on your Internet Explorer browser.

14. Each time when I go to ADB Homepage, I receive the following warning: “The current web page is trying to open a site in your trusted sites list. Do you want to allow this?”.

If you are not familiar with installing security certificates, please call ADB Helpdesk, they will provide you a manual or guide you through the process of installing a security certificate on your Internet Explorer browser.

15. When I logon to ADB website following error code is displayed: “ERROR CODE: 23113 ERROR MESSAGE: ORA-28113: policy predicate has error exception encountered… exciting”. I am unable to consult my accounts.

In case this error is displayed call ADB Helpdesk immediately.  This error is an inconsistency between Digipass settings and ADB Database.

16. I try to logon on ADB website, but following error is displayed: “Unexpected Exception”?

Always go first to http://www.antwerpdiamondbank.com and use the tab E-Banking.  When the logon screen is placed on the desktop this could result in the error code “Unexpected Exception”.  Instead place a link in your favourites from the ADB home page.

17. My Digipass is unlocked and ready to be used.  When I go to the home page of ADB and I click on E-Banking nothing is happening.  I receive no logon screen?

Some of the security settings in your internet explorer browser are not correct and should be modified.  Active scripting is disabled.  Call ADB Helpdesk, they will provide you a manual or guide you through the process of enabling scripting in your internet browser.

18. I am working in Internet Explorer Version 7.  When clicking on E-Banking I receive a warning that there is a problem with the website security certificate.  If I then click on “Continue to this website (not recommended)” I get the logon window but on top there is a warning “Certificate Error”.  What should I do?

Settings in Internet Explorer 7 are more advanced than in other I.E. versions.  In this case there is a problem with an “Untrusted Certificate”.  The Certificate and Certificate Authority must be installed, otherwise you will not be able to proceed with logon.  Call ADB Helpdesk, they will provide you a manual or guide you through the process of installing certificates when working with I.E. Version 7.
